Excellent place for a child. My daughter was a student there last year (during the pandemic) but unfortunately we moved so she no longer attends. I’d like to share a few comments for parents who are considering St Patrick’s Academy for their child.
As a university professor I had high expectations from a school for my child and at Saint Patrick’s I was positively surprised.

The level of education is high, teachers are engaged the whole time, help students who actually need help. They teach effectively (as I noticed during online classes). My daughter did not have problems doing homework on her own as she understood all the material from teaching in class.

Despite the pandemic the school organizes events for children like Easter T-shirt painting with parents, egg hunting,Mothers Day performance, all in sanitary regimen of course. I’m impressed that they don’t use the current situation as an excuse and cancel most events like some schools do. The headmaster is a great leader, a bit strict but also listening to parents and understanding. In such difficult times she manages the school perfectly. So as a parent you can concentrate on your own work because you know that your kid is in good hands. At least that was the case for us.
Religious education at St Pats is interesting, my child actually engaged in the creative activities and talked about them at home. The morning prayer of all students is just a wonderful experience.
I have no doubt that this school provides high level of educational and ethical standards and they actually do care for each student. Good luck all Saint Pats staff, we miss you! MK

I moved from New York to Jersey City and I was looking for a school for my 4 childrens they usually was assisting to St Marks Catholic Academy but now with all these reviews and opinion Im kind of scare to register my childrens in this school. they coming from a great school whee they work with kids and they all very respectfull, this year when Pandemic started they was taking virtual classes with St Thomas Aquinas very nice everything and to switch them to a school where people have a negative experience and is more negative than positive makes me worry.
my son has been there since preK . We love it and even more with the great changes in place from the new principal. I dont know why someone commented on how a principal dresses- i care the children have adequate curriculem.
