My granddaughter attend first grade at St. Paul Lutheran. Today my daughter calledl upset. one of my granddaughter’s classmates told her to shut the F*^k up. After emailing the principle to meet with the child’s parents, the principle came to her at drop off to tell my daughter that this was my granddaughter fault because she was talking excessively in robotics(an extra curriculum activity). My opinion this principle that was present during this incident need to maybe find a new career and I base this opinion on first children talking excessively (in his opinion) to the point that another student would use vulgar language as well as a phrase so rude as “shut up”. Seems an educator would keep the the atmosphere in the school building structured especially with the money paid for a private education. Suggestions ask talker to go to the office to sit this class out. call parent. Sit her away from other but by no means try to justify disrespect.
Four StArs because 5 would probably not be read by you since everyone else will probably give 5. St. Paul is a Great School if you, like me, value individual attention, small class sizes, Christ centered, yet student focus education. My daughter has tested above grade level on state exams each year since leaving public school for St. Paul. She has a solid group of friends and has learned to value not just her friends, but the feelings of everyone around her. And the teachers are experienced and value teaching each of their students.
If you are looking for a school with small class sizes, excellent teachers, a nurturing family environment with an excellent, Christ centered education then St. Paul Lutheran School and Early Childhood Center is for you. Our students graduate an average of 2 years ahead of their peers nationally. Our parents work closely with the faculty to create a real family atmosphere. If you want to see the school in action, call the school office and schedule a tour.
