I am a parent of a student athlete from Headland, Alabama. I must say that I was very surprised with the welcome that our Team, Coaches, and Parent Body received from the Team, Coaches, and Local Fans from St. Paul’s School this past weekend. I witnessed some of the worst sportsmanship that I have ever seen from every angle starting with the press box and going all the way to the Head Coach of the Baseball Team. I can only assume that since this was a Second Round Playoff series that there was a higher level of authority representation from the school present. This was not the normal chatter that goes on at almost every ballgame between ball players and ball players and The fans from both sides. This was an evil attack that must be taught from within such a school system or from the Coaching staff.
Teenage ball players with filthy mouthes and super sarcastic attitudes, and Coaches and fans that talk hatredly and directly to the opposing ball players during the game. Wow!
I don’t Believe there is evil within everyone that is a Parent or School Figure at St Paul, however I do believe that there are many that sit back and allow these evil tactics to happen simply because they don’t want to speak up and be heard because this is a “Private Christian School” and they don’t want to rock the boat. I’m not writing this review because St. Paul’s School beat Our Headland Rams this weekend. I’m writing this review hoping that the parents and the staff that reads it opens their ears and eyes to what’s really going on, and that maybe someone will speak up. This is not what I expected to run into this weekend and quite frankly it was disgusting!
Most disrespectful players coaches and fans. I have ever witnessed in my entire time being a parent. For a Christian school I have never seen more unchristian type behavior ever!! I am going to pray for you!!!!
Outstanding academic institution where the low ACT scores are 26-28
