Im not going to lie I was so nervous at first when I found out my son who started Kindergarten in August would be going full days. However he has an absolutely amazing teacher. It took a good month and a half for him and myself to get used to it. I knew he was crying in the cafeteria and not eating his lunch. It was tough. The staff there is wonderful, they would try and get him to eat and tell him jokes. He now LOVES school! He has awesome friends and of course he has his BFF. He has learned so much in 90 days it absolutely blows me away!! That extra 2 plus hours makes a huge difference for him academically!!! Plus he wont have a shock when first grade comes. He doesnt know any different. My son goes to Stanislaus Elementary! If your child will be attending this school, you will love it!! Super tight nit school with everyone looking out for each other!!
This is a forward thinking district that values their students and treats the staff with dignity. I am particularly impressed with their annual Science Nights that are so well attended by many enthusiastic children and parents.
