This review is for parents who are contemplating on where to take your kid(s) for day care. This is not the right place based on my bad experience here. I thought I could put my trust into their hands, but I was so wrong. I regret taking my daughter here and I feel really bad that I didn’t do enough research beforehand. There were 0 reviews on Yelp for this location and I am now the first to review. During the holiday potluck, I started noticing some bad signs… The toys that they had were filthy and most of them were broken but were still left out for the children to play with. I tried cleaning one of them with an anti-bacterial wipe, but the dirt and grime wouldn’t budge. Also, on several occasions and at different times of the day the door has been unlocked. I was able to walk right in with no problems, this is frightening as we have been seeing so many school shootings on the news. Then I started noticing they were not wiping my daughter’s bottom properly, as there was feces left between her bottom and legs. The final straw was when I undressed her to bathe there was a HUGE black bruise on her leg!! I contacted Starkids right away and asked what had happened to cause such a big bruise. They were so defensive and stated if I made a police report that it was my word against theirs and that they would also contact the police to report child abuse on me! I was so outraged, I pulled her out of there to never return. I have yet to be contacted for a refund on my deposit as well. Being a parent, I always want what’s best for my daughter and if you are reading this I would recommend you do more research before handing over your kid(s) over to someone to care for them.
