I highly recommend trying Steamoji (and particularly this location). The regular staff is so friendly and helpful and the program teaches things beyond what school (or I) could teach! My son first tried Steamoji last year for Summer Camp and he loved it so much that we signed up for a full year — and he even had his 8th birthday there! He goes twice a week and loves that he could choose his own path of focus (Digital Arts) and that the missions build upon each other. He’s gone from making art pieces to animating those pieces through code to create his own games! For me, I love how easy it is to book, and that it is a safe, friendly environment for my kid to learn and have fun. Much appreciation to the staff and curriculum builders!
My 2 elementary school sons ( now 8 and 11) have been coming to Steamoji Redmond for almost 2 years. They have always been enjoying the well planned lessons and very helpful and friendly staff and teachers who are always here to help my kids think out of the box and innovate new ideas and engineer new solutions. Nicole always greets us with a great smile and she has been very accommodating to our busy changing schedules. My kids love coming to Steamoji because it provides a nurturing environment for them to tinker their ideas and make prototypes and test them out on site. Thanks for bringing such a great program to our community.
My son has been attending Steamoji since it opened and we were one of the founding families. I am extremely impressed with the wide range of skills my son has gained over the last year. I have spent countless hours researching stem kits and programs for my kids and Steamoji has been a great intersection for all these types of pursuits. We are excited for all the upcoming missions my son will be given and to reach the top levels of the program. I asked for his feedback and he shared he really likes each task and lesson and have a great time designing and building in the studio each week.
