There are not enough words to talk about this center. My son has been going to this center since infancy, Now my child is 3 years old. When I first started looking at schools it was hard because I was a first-time dad and putting my infant in a school was scary. All the other schools around are not what we were looking for. When I found Sterling ELA just going up to the building it looked great. Walking into the center you get greeted at the door by the amazing center director Ms. Christina. She stops you right at the door if you don’t have an appointment and makes sure that her kids are safe at the school. I told her I would like to see the center with my newborn baby, and she gave us a tour of the center-right then and there. She was so friendly and loved engaging with my son during the tour. While walking around, you can see and smell that the center was so clean, and all the teachers were so respectful with saying hi to me and my son. Now going on 3 years being here, they use an app called Line Leader that is very helpful for when you are away from your child for a long period. The directors are always good at communicating with parents by email, talking in person, and comforting newbie parents. Thank you, Sterling ELA, for being a great part of the community for keeping the children safe, and for teaching their little minds.

We initially had a great experience and felt that our child was very well cared for in the infant room. However upon discussions to start moving him into the next room, we learned that we would no longer have the option of making his food and that he would be required to eat what they provided. We also had a couple of instances where we saw the children watching programs on tablets, which was very concerning.
The ultimate reason we left though was because our 11 month old son came home with bleach stains on his pants, under shirt, and what appeared to be a bleach burn on his foot (his doctor examined it as well). We did receive good and timely responses about the incident; however ultimately no one knew exactly what happened and therefore could not provide a clear future prevention plan.
We sincerely hope that practices have since been rectified and encourage everyone to make the best decision for their child on where to go, but want parents to be mindful and to do due diligence on these matters prior to making their decision.
