I have children in elementary, middle school, and junior high school. I was also a student of the Junior High School myself. I’ve always been supportive of Stillwater and Stillwater Public Schools, but the junior high is honestly the worst school I have ever had to deal with, as a student myself and a parent of a student currently. Office staff is horrible with no compassion. Speaking with them is like speaking to a brick wall. They have students they go above and beyond for and then they have students who they don’t show any kind of care about. My child works so hard to get all of his work complete all semester long, even staying up until various hours to complete homework, and they don’t want to give him credit for any of it because he was sick without a doctor’s note. This is the second year dealing with this school and last year was just as bad, he received no credit last year either, even though his grades were passing. We can’t afford a doctor’s visit everytime he is sick. I’m completely let down by Stillwater Public Schools only because of the Junior High School. They let me down as a student myself, and now they are doing it to my son.

Extremely nice teachers and staff, fun environment. This school is great.
