I love the experience that the Summa advanced learning program gives me and my fellow classmates. It can get a little bit tedious, but once you get through the school year, you feel very accomplished and proud of yourself. One problem I have with this place is that there are literally more than 1500 kids in this school. There are 3 grades. It is too crowded and sometimes people can trample over each other. That is just not cool.
Another thing that I truly hate about this school is that the kids are divided into halls. One of the most exciting things about the first day of school is that you get to meet new people and make friends with them. With color-coded neighborhoods, that element is totally taken away from the kids. Most children will stay in the same hall for every grade. So every year, you will run into the same old kids you had in your classes the year before. I understand that they did this to control crowdedness, but I am just stating that neighborhoods are boring and uninteresting from a student’s perspective.
Overall I give the school three stars, because I like my teachers and the material that they teach me. Stoller Middle School is one of the best, highest rated middle schools in the state, but that does not make it a fun environment. Very few schools are completely to every student’s liking.
Teachers and very forgiving even when I troll hard. Big thanks to all teachers who put up with my trolling. And all the students who put up with it as well. I deeply apologize for all the pain I may have caused the teachers. :'( but its a good school anyway so if youre in stoller consider yourself lucky
