I’m a parent to a son who has attended Stonebridge for 5th and now 6th grade. I moved him there from Hale (yes, Hale) due to the fact that he was in a class of 35 children with one teacher, no aides, and wasn’t getting the personal attention he needed and deserved. As negative reviews have more weight than positive on any online platform, I feel the need to address Ms. Eagan’s concerns directly, as I think they’re completely unfounded.
1. Head lice – My son has never gotten lice from this school, nor have we received any notice about it. Perhaps Ms. Eagan should check her mattresses.
2. Overwhelmed staff – No idea about this claim. This is a composed and professional staff of teachers and administrators. Class sizes are smaller than in public schools, and I’ve felt both years that my son got plenty of personal attention. Currently he’s in a sixth grade class with one teacher and two aides, all of whom I feel are sufficiently attentive to the kids.
3. Bruising – This is an extreme and unfair claim with zero evidence. If Ms. Eagan had concerns, why wouldn’t she contact management and let them address it? There are multiple responsible staffers in every classroom who clearly care about the kids, and there’s no way any of the teachers I’ve met would ever lay a hand on the children.
4. Rude staff – No and no. The staff, from teachers to administrators, are very friendly and helpful. They all knew my son’s name after he was there less than a month. They’re tireless, friendly and committed to this school and its students. I admire the hell out of them.
5. Different staff – No. My son has had the same teachers and aides throughout both his years at Stonebridge. Of course there are substitutes when necessary, but it’s no different than at any other school. Another baseless smear.

I think this is an excellent school, and I’m glad I transferred my son here. Highly recommended. Contact them, take a tour, meet them, and you will see. Ignore the haters.

I have a total of four children in this school. Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 3rd and 4th! The staff deal with each individually. One of my children has a i.e.p. and they totally listened to my concerns and had no issues fitting my childs needs into their scheduals. My kindergartener isnt quite the class room type and they also deal with his dramatic behavior as well with little to no complaints.
I read a comment about head lice! IVE NEVER HAD THAT ISSUE WITH ANY OF MY CHILDREN GOING TO THIS SCHOOL. I love this school. My children also love this school. And all of the teachers and staff are AMAZING! 5 STARS BECAUSE THEY GENUINELY CARE ABOUT THE STUDENTS!
