It has been a high case of bullying going on. My daughter attends stoneview. She is in the first grade. Her teacher is Ms.Juniors. Let me start by saying that i love Ms.juniors. She seens to be a great teacher and my daughter seems to be learning well. However a student in the class by the name of Gabriel has attacked my child on multiple occasions within the pass few weeks. My child was bitten by her more than twice. I was told that the student was taken from the class to sit with the counsler ms.hall but i was disturbed when she returned to the class and attacked my child on a different occasion. She also ripped my daughters coat and its cold outside so my child needs her coat. I was told that ger mother would contact me and replace the coat. I never heard from her. I requested a conference because im eager to speak with the mother of the child. However i continue to recieve no feed back. I spoke with Mrs davis once and she said that she would handle this issue but once again i have not heard back from anyone. I requested to speak with Mr. Jackson twice but was told that he was busy. At this point im upset because the problem is not solved. The student is still in the classroom and its only a matter of time vefore ahe attacks my child or the next person child. I feel as if she should be removed immediately and the staff and principles at Stoneview should communicate better.
i just wanted to say that the principal and the one lady in the front office that you see straight ahead when you walk in is very nice and definitely make a difference in the students lives. I do have to say that I am very upset. My daughter worked very hard all year earning all A’s and 2 B’s the entire year just to be disappointed at her 5th grade graduation. She had some conduct issues but did not deserve to not earn honor roll when she worked so hard for it. When schools do things like this, it kills the child’s motivation and will. It is horrible and I do not understand the logic behind this. I always thought honor roll was based on the child’s academics. 1 N in a freakin conduct should not have prevented her from getting a reward she earned. I hope no other child gets there self esteem broken down. Shame on Ms. Miller for that. It may not be your child but she is mine, and I will do whatever it takes to make sure that I prevent her from going to any other school like this. Overall regardless this school is not good…period!!!!
I recently had to withdraw my son from this school because of an incident where he was injured. Its been 3 weeks and not 1 person from the school has called to let me know what’s going on. If I could give this school a (-)negative rating, less than 1 star, I would. The principal has too many incidents going on in the school to handle my issue and the staff blatantly says there are too many children to watch. I don’t know if I’ll ever know what happened to my son, but he’ll never attend this school again.
