My daughter was harassed on the train today by a group of male Strathmore students on her way home from college. She was sworn at, pushed, had a drink thrown at her & she was prevented from exiting the train at Pascoe Vale Station as they blocked the exit door. She was then forced to get off at the next station & make her way back. Both my daughter & I contacted the school to advise them of the incident to which they told us that it’s an out of school issue & to escalate to police. We have contacted the police & provided them with images of those involved & the incident that took place. What’s really disappointing was the reaction from the school. I had asked the secretary to speak to the principal & was advised that they were busy & could only speak to them via email. I wonder how busy the principal would be if it were there own child in this situation. They promised that they would provide an email address to report the mater but nothing as yet. FIRE THE LUNCH LADY.
This school is bad, at the canteen, its super crowed and takes like 20 minutes just to get your food, super small and the lunch lady is crazy. Me and my friends had 14 dollars in total and what we ordered was a cookie and two beef noodles, thats like 11.50 dollars and the lunchlady had teh audacity to say we were 2.50 money short, like this is so unprofessional, ahe shoudld fired and she is old btw And she was supoosed to say we get 2.50 change but said we were short on money, which made my friend sad bc she wasnt able to get her food and we had the money but the lunch lady said we didnt have enough

edit: PLEASE add more bathrooms i literally cannot stand the fact theres one bathroom for 7-8’s and one bathroom for 9-10’s like what r ppl gonna do if some 7th grader is in D block and has to walk all the way to B block ???? like itd be so much more efficient if this school finally decided to put more bathrooms like theres literally almost 2,000 kids at this school and the audacity for you to only open bathrooms with 3 stalls during breaks that two whole grades can only use is diabolical.. and u literally have to ask to go to the bathroom in B block?? where is my freedom!!!!!!!!! If i gotta go ,let me go!!!!!!!!
Also its actually so annoying that they closed off B block during breaks.. im so glad i entered this school before they did so because that was the time i never knew i should’ve cherished. Like what do you mean i have to WALK AROUND the ENTIRETY of b block because at this point just let me through?? its such a waste of time and a pain for every student because they be guarding this like the queens crown.. Like what is the reasonnnn????? give me a good reason why this mid school decided to close the building up!!!!!!!!

Alright, let’s just sum things up as they are. The students are vicious and unruly, due to lack of discipline by staff. The students have caused the school to fall into an inescapable pit of unacceptable behaviour. The students don’t show up to detention, and they block the school on their parent’s phones. A suspension is a holiday for them.

Furthermore, the school limits subject selection, in order to make students choose easy subjects to increase grade average, at the sacrifice of the students’ happiness, freedom and future. The school’s excuse is that having two subjects of a similar category (Say, Economics/Business and ethics politics and the law) is too focused. Yet it’s perfectly acceptable to choose a course only consisting of art subjects, the school doesn’t have a problem with that.

I understand the risk involved with making this review, but decided that it was important that parents thinking of sending their child/children to this school understand what to expect. Because of this, I have remained anonymous and created alternate route IP blockers in order to make sure that the school does not know my identity. Please be warned, this school is the worst possible thing you can send your child into. Don’t listen to people praising it’s reputation, that was lost long ago.

Honestly speaking, this might be one of the MOST horrible schools I’ve ever been to. Not trying to be biased or dramatic, but it’s just straight up bad. I went to the Victorian Space Science Education Centre, for a school excursion, and I get kids are being kids, but the AUDACITY for the high schoolers to vape in front of me and my classmates. Like I get every school always has kids vaping, but shouldn’t they have a sense of logic that they shouldn’t be doing it in front of other students, who are especially YOUNGER than them? Adding to this, the high schoolers were making out, like a full on kissing session, in front of us. I know 100%, that they knew that we were there. Again, I understand that every school has this type of problem, but this is just straight up disgusting. I feel like the teachers aren’t even doing anything about whatever there students are doing. Never visiting again, I don’t recommend it.

If you hate your kids send them here maybe even drop them off buy a school uniform they probably won’t notice
