This school really needs to be closed! They have no care in the world for our community of children. I recently enrolled my child here. She attended virtual learning for 3 days before I withdrew her from the school. After several requests to take a tour of the school to be assured that my child is safe, I was informed that the school does not participate in social distancing in the class room, there are up to 36 kids per class and they’re only getting 3 hours of virtual learning then the kids are able to log off and “complete any undone work in their own time”. The assistant principal of the 4th grade is whom I spoke with. She was very frankly matter of fact tone, no empathy whatsoever. It really plays into the idea that these teachers are just here to do their job for 5 years so they can get their student loans from college paid off then they don’t care about our kids. I don’t see how ANY parent has their kid in here. My daughter is an honor roll student always. But for her to only get 3 hours a day of learning is ridiculous. There is no vaccine for these younger kids, there are reports everyday about the spread amongst the kids. So why no social distance protocol in the classroom?
My child attended kindergarten here last year and I have to say it was the worst experience ever. They pack the classrooms with children and my child would come home hungry because he would raise his hand to get help opening his snacks and the teachers would never get to him. Finally i decided to send everything in ziploc bags just so he wouldn’t starve all day. I was harassed 2 and 3 times a week by his teachers and when i did hw with my child he would tell me that he raised his hand for help during class and the teacher would never get to him so he would sit there LOST. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS THERE UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TRAUMATIZED!
Absolutely disgusted with the treatments of 5 year olds at this place. They scream at your kids, and make them face the wall as they wait for you to pick them up. Not one smile in any of those kids faces from day one. Not to mention they suspended my godson on his first day of school for falling asleep, this is how you treat children ? Children who are transitioning from pre kinder get no leniency ? This is a boot camp. Unprofessional teachers that have no patience to work with our kids.
