I go to this school and everything, I love it there. We have a lot of events, like Boosterthon, Bookfair, and Jump rope for heart. We also have our own school store every Friday. My grade can buy snacks during lunch through our lunch account our with paper cash. During Bookfair, you have a chance of getting a free book of your choice if you win answering something. Can be estimating. I’m in fifth grade this year, and i’m excited to go to middle school. We got a field trip to the middle school, liked the food. Recorders weren’t that great to me, but it was nice. The teachers are very nice. There are some that I don’t really like, but like I said, the teachers are nice. My science teacher, she gave me, my friend, and the other boy stress toys during the Spelling Bee. The only thing I didn’t like was science fair. We didn’t have to present, and my science teacher pushed it back for us because there was a lot of work during that week. My science fair project wasn’t that good, i stepped on it, and the plants on the border fell down..
My son just started Kindergarten here and so far I’ve been impress with the teachers and parent involvement. The PTA Board is a group of dedicated parents who gives a lot of wonderful contribution to the school. The person I am most impress with by far is the Principal, Ms. Graham. She is a dedicated and truly care for all her staff as well as students. She attends every single PTA Board and General meetings that is held at 6 or 7 p.m. She is always kind and her love for her job really shines through. I trust that Sugar Mill Elementary will continue to thrive with her leadership.
My son has gone to this since third and up to fifth.
My nephew First grade to fifth.
My daugter Kindergarten to fifth
and now my youngest daughter is going onto first grade!
The school is great, but some teachers are a bit rude to students. (Showing favoritism,rolling eyes at them,and telling students that they make working bad for them when they do nothing)
Teachers don’t pay attention to kids being bullied at recess,kids talking,kids on ipads,iphones,tablets,kindles,and etc. when they aren’t supposed to.
