So my wife and I went to Summit hair salon a few months back my wife wanted to have her hair done. We had a very nice time the lady in the picture she was the hairstylist and she did a very nice job. At the same time when we were getting serviced by this lady, we were having a casual conversation about life, religion, and Topics like that . At no time during the conversation, did the young lady seem uncomfortable. Actually, totally the opposite after the lady Got finished doing my wife’s hair she took a book from us. The book was about religion and also agreed to take a picture with us as you can see in the picture she didn’t look agitated or anything. What happened was maybe some of her coworkers might’ve been agitated and reported it to The manager or whomever is in charge at that time. So when we Tried to come back to get another appointment around a month later, they told us we could not come back. When I asked the reason why the staff there were extremely rude, and they even acted in a threatening manner . So I posted a review online about the incident so the manager or somebody called us back around couple of days later and said it was all right for us to come back . So On the day we were scheduled to come in to get my wife’s hair done. They looked up on their board and they said the lady who was supposed to come in to do. It didn’t come in So instead of being professional about it, they made some lame excuse. The manager and quite a few of the coworkers were very rude . The Only two person that were professional were Alexia and the lady who did my wife’s hair on her first appointment . We will never come back to this place again But we will definitely look at our resources to put a complaint in with the federal government . We were definitely discriminated against because of religion. And they do get funding from the federal government. Their students go to learn how to do hair they get federal funding. The manager and some of the staff there are very low class people and I hope that they close this operation down . Also, we will put in a complaint with our US representative in Congress . Boycott Summit hair salon .
If you’re in a hurry this is not the place for you.

My experiences at Summit Salon Academy have always been where I feel like I’m being pampered. The students are interacting with their educators to make sure they are following techniques and procedures and they learn to listen to the customer, which is the most important thing IMHO.
Best money I have spent this week– color, cut, and style and a couple of hours of total relaxation. ??

P.S. my color is not true to life because of the fluorescent lighting. It’s more of a light to medium brown with a beautiful loose curl styling.
