I cannot say enough good things about this daycare! I recall the very first time I called. My husband and I just moved to Georgia from Cleveland, Ohio with our sons ages four and nine (last year) my oldest would already be attending elementary but my four year old needed a preschool. I came across Sunshine House, (driving by) and decided to call to get more information. I spoke with Miss Sandra, and her southern hospitality was top-tier. She answered every question I had professionally and her tone was warm. I was able to tour the school and I met Miss Kelly. She was so polite and very welcoming. They both put me at ease as it can be stressful, moving from another state and looking for a school for a young child. My son‘s first day was a success, and he’s loved Sunshine House ever since. Every teacher here makes the child’s health and safety top priority. They make you feel like FAMILY. My son was really happy here!!! He is now in kindergarten, but talks about Sunshine House daily! I always had peace of mind when we dropped him off. As we know he was in good care. This is such a fun and safe environment and I highly recommend Sunshine House!!
Thank you to the entire staff for your awesome care!!
This school is so unorganized. Waited until my bill got extremely high knowing I’m on low income program. Then had the audacity to say your child will need to be picked up 2:30, when the state pays for her to go to daycare. Pre-k is covered by the state the only reason they receiving the check is for the day care part. So basically they are adding additional Late fees when CAPS pays for daycare before and after. The manger (Sandra)on site always screams of how she can’t do anything and super clueless to anything you ask her. Also I have asked for billing to call me no one has called or followed up. I have been dealing with this for several months and instead of them fixing the situation so I can put my account on a auto. They never fix the problem and continue to add late
fees. 550 dollars in late payment fees is what I’m referring too. I continuously paid my portion and current with what I am suppose to pay. Also you have certain teachers who have attitude and take them out on your child. Currently looking for a new provider.
Long but worth the read if you’re looking for quality childcare. My youngest daughter has a CHD, and because of that she is a little behind due to surgeries and such. A year ago, it was suggested by her pediatrician that she should join a classroom. I immediately thought is SSH because both my older daughters went there for PreK. Over the year, she has progressed amazingly. The attention they take with their children is unmatched. My child joined a year ago behind and after being tested again last week, she is now ahead of her cognitive thinking for her age. What a testament for her teacher Ms. Fran! I’m thankful I decided to enroll her to get some early intervention. Sandra, Kelly, and the entire staff have just been great for her and our family. We are looking forward to PreK in the fall!
