It was an excellent experience, I spent three weeks preparing for an IELTS exam at the school, and throughout the days we intensively went through the format, we prepared the various exercises, and when the day of the exam came, it was exactly as expected.

The ambient is lovely, the staff was so kind and pleasant, they encouraged us to chat amongst the students and it was one of the highlights in my time in Plymouth.

Highly recommend it for anyone with enough time on their hands to learn English further, especially if they have their sights on some exam.

This is t he only school language I would recommend for gaining skills and practicing or preparing for an exam. The environment, the staff and the accommodation were just brilliant. I have spent 2 weeks having intensive course getting me ready for IELTS. I passed it the week after. Highly recommended to my friends and colleagues. I can`t thank you enough!
6 years ago I’ve spent here two lovely weeks preparing intensively for my IELTS Academic test. What a great, friendly and smiley team they are. My teacher back then was Tim(I believe). He is great gentleman and born to be a great teacher and professional. He gave me and my colleagues courage and knowledge and believed in us so we all succeeded. I spent two weeks at the school and i am incredibly happy and grateful for my experience at the Suzanne Sparrow Plymouth Language School.
I was a group leader for French students in February 2011. It isn’t my best memory for personals reasons: I failed the lawyer exam shortly before and my girlfriend’s father had just died.

But a kind of obstinate refusal had filled me every time i was thinking of cancel my stay. I spent a nice week although i felt slightly sick,.
