It is dishonest and not advisable. For Potential client: If you or your loved ones need swim lessons, please consider using another provider. The manager/Kim disregards the clients and is extremely unpleasant, insensitive, and rude. Her only goal is to charge your credit card each month, with no respect for the customer. During this particularly frigid winter, I caught the cold in December 2023 and then the flu in January 2024. Although, I was scared that I might share my illness to others, all they cared about was me swimming because the boss refused to provide me makeup. Their behavior was reckless and frightening since they did not care about my safety or the safety of other students who could be exposed.
The manager is more concerned with not allowing class make-up than with customer safety. She eventually agreed to give me the make-up classes after a lengthy debate and discussion.
Another time, in January, I was severely bleeding while having my period, and the management refused to reschedule my session, insisting that I enter the pool. It doesn’t matter, she claims. Furthermore, because the water is not well maintained, my daughter and I suffer from swimmer’s itch after every session. If you want to be treated with respect and are concerned about your safety and cleanliness, you should definitely consider going somewhere else.
They held my money without respecting their service, refused to offer a make-up class for the day I was menstruating, and were unpleasant, thus I regretted choosing them. DON’T GO THERE!!!
The facility, which is more accurately described as a very small area rather than a proper pool, is not conducive to effective swimming instruction. They canceled our lesson but refuse to provide refund. The instructors lack professionalism, and, to add to the drawbacks, the cost exceeds 40 dollars for a 30-minute class. Considering that this price point can secure private instruction in numerous other locations, I would strongly discourage recommending this place to friends.
My son went from being terrified of swimming to saying he wishes he had more classes per week. I can visibly see progress in 3.5 months. It’s slow progress because it’s done at his pace, respecting his fears. Deanna is absolutely phenomenal. She cares, she is very patient but also challenges him. I’m very thankful for what she has done for my son so far.
