I signed my son up for his first lesson this week and we were very impressed. The front desk staff was super nice and very helpful. My son was very nervous at first but the instructor did a great job warming them up and getting them comfortable before the lessons started. We were very happy with the instructor. I was also very impressed with the structure of it all. It was so nice to see only a 2-1 ratio in his group, although it sounds like it could be 4-1 if all kids are present in the class. I do think the 30 min is a very short amount of time and wish it was closer to 45 min/1hr as it does seems the first few minutes is taken up by transitioning and getting the kids in and ready and with 4 kids in each session I think there could be less time for learning and would require more lessons than necessary which is the only reason why I gave it 4 stars. Overall though, my son was very happy to attend and can’t wait for his next session! Sorry I didn’t get any photos this time, next time!
My child comes to swim classes here. The facility is fairly new. All the staff are very friendly. My kiddo enjoys the instructors very much. The classes are structured adequately but it can be tough if the class has a larger number of students. Having a 30 minute window with a full class can be tough. Each child will only receive a minimal amount of instruction. Safety is a little weak as well. Even though there is an employee on deck, nobody is focused on watching the kids or the instructors. The pool has some nasty blind spots and it just seems like the staff is not trained on how to watch the water correctly. The facility seams clean and well organized. The bathrooms and changing rooms are maintained well. Overall, I give it a B- with some room for improvement on safety.
Teachers, instructors, and managers are all great at the location. However I really do not like the business structure. You cannot call and speak directly to someone from your location. There is a call center and you speak to someone who knows nothing about your child, your location or situation. If you have a question,the call center plays tag between you and your swim location and acts as a middle man. It’s highly frustrating and not time efficient at all. It seems odd to pay for a call center when an employee at the specific location could provide service at better quality.
