I am deeply concerned about the safety of the trees on the school premises. Many trees appear to be dangerously overgrown, with branches hanging precariously over areas where children frequently play and walk.

The tragic incident in 2014, where Bridget Wright lost her life due to a falling branch, serves as a grim reminder of what could happen if proper tree maintenance is neglected.

It is imperative that the school act immediately to trim back these trees and regularly assess their health to ensure the safety of all students and staff.

Immediate action is required to prevent any potential accidents.

Terrible School. Only gives a student 3 subjects at the start of the year. Then towards the end of the year they say they will give the student the other 3 mandatory subjects with 10 weeks left of school to complete a years’ worth of 3 subjects otherwise they will fail. Teachers don’t mark work often and the students account has been set up so they can’t speak to their teachers. They also block their school email so they cannot use domains where they need to login using their school email.

Life changing for my son, who thanks to almost 4 years with SDEH, now has a very bright future ahead of him. We still pinch ourselves at how lucky we were to find this school. Nuturing, sympathetic, flexable, dependable, and highly organsied. Top-notch teachers who really invest their time and energy into their pupils. Everything a school should be.
SDEHS managed to get my daughter engaged again in schoolwork, and she is now excited about study and her future, going to TAFE next year to study nursing. Fantastic teachers who understand the needs of their students.
I only live next door to the school the teacher’s are lovely!
