ESE program rises to the occasion – being a special needs mom, we are always over-concerned with the minute details of executing IEP and getting my son the services and support he needs. We openly discuss with the team how to navigate ALL OF THEM, and the staff at Tampa Palms has helped make a plan for our son and he has flourished in their newly-integrated “blended” Prek classroom. We can always call and get an overview from admin, but for the daily details, Ms Zambito and Ms Donna are STELLAR in every way. Loving, patient and kind approach with clinical application to redirect problem behaviors- Communication with staff is KEY and if you are invested in your child’s education, you will appreciate the TPES “standard” — Rated #1 in Hillsborough County for a reason !!!
My feelings towards this school has drastically changed largely due to mistreatment by the administration. The principal is overwhelmingly disrespectful. She’s extremely condescending, flat-out rude, and seeks negative interactions with parents. I’ve gotten to a place where I dread running into her because I don’t have the energy to put up with her attitude. I can only imagine how difficult it is to work with her on a daily basis. The few teachers that I’ve had interactions with have all been Pleasant but it’s unfortunate that as a parent you don’t feel welcome at your child’s School because of the principal.
This has to be the worst school in America! The dismal process is trash! My kids bus had been late dropping the kids off. One time the bus never even came to pick them up! I had to leave work to come get her! Another time the call me to come get her because she is sick then the force me to get in the long line of car riders. If she is so sick to the point I need to come get her then allow me to park walk in and pick her up! My child will not be at this school in the coming year I promise you that. Staff is garbage!
