My 2 daughters, neice and nephew love Tate Street Primary.
The teachers here are very welcoming and the curriculum is fantastic and inclusive. With less students than most schools, the sense of community is what really sets the school apart. Everyone including teachers, coordinators and parents are inviting and MOST importantly, the students are happy!.
The reason I chose this school for my daughter was because myself my 3 siblings and cousins all went here and we loved it. Alot has changed in 35 years obviously some of the exterior but also the learning and what they offer. It’s very exciting to know that my little girls educational needs are taken so seriously led by a very approachable fantastic principal that you can tell has a genuine passion for the children and their learning needs.
School appears to have great facilities, playground equipment for all ages, well looked after chickens, a vegetable garden and many water fountains available
This campus of hustlers university Is very good. The drink taps there have sparkling water now instead of normal water. We also only have millionaire teachers so we actually end up rich. There’s also a kickboxing class which is my favourite. We also made cigars in art class. Thanks for teaching us
(Coming from a student who has been there for 7years and just graduated) To anyone who may say one star to this school you are wrong. This is the best school ever. I just graduated and the year 6s all had to make a speech about Tate street. They said this was the school where the teachers could understand them and where they made their best friendships. It may be a small school but that means teachers can get a lot of one on one attention in subjects to help students learn. The school even switched from teaching Spanish to Auslan ( sign language) because a kid with a hearing disability joined the school. They are some of the nicest people I may ever meet. I will miss this school everyday.
