My review is not directed at the school’s quality of curriculums. This review is more so of a moral complaint. For a “Christian” school, none of the faculty enforces the dress code for it’s female students. Of course the rule with guidelines is provided, but girls still wear their skirts super high and tight during regular school hours and no teacher reports them or place disciplinary actions. This is my daughter’s first year attending this school and she is under peer pressure feeling she has match the trend/style of her fellow classmates. Saying she feels out of place because all the other girls wear it like that and teases her for not doing the same. One girl told her she looked like a pilgrm because she worn her skirt at the correct length. When I pick her up after school, it is shameful to see what other parents/teachers allow how these teens wear their skirts. These girls are trying to show as much skin as possible. There is no such thing as “finger tip length” enforcement at this school. This is embarrassing and needs to be enforced.
As a guest presenter in their Physical Science and Chemistry classes, I was impressed with the politeness, kindness, and intelligence of the students at Tattnall Square Academy. My time there was intellectually stimulating and met with interest and engagement in discussion among the students, who were genuinely interested in learning more about the topics of my presentation. Tattnall Square Academy is a great place to learn.
