This college is pretty much the same as any other sports obsessive school. Despite the “opportunities” anyone coming here is gonna have a boring and stupid time here. Students and teachers alike are bad. If you can kick a ball good, you can get the benefits and be praised by the teachers.
Mainly relies on sports for it’s name. It’s not the place you think it is. Prides itself on being one of the top schools in the country, yet refuses to fix the obvious when stated or argued. Doesn’t provide any other solutions to life besides university, does not realise there are things other than learning and working from someone else’s experience.
HORRIBLE SCHOOL
Extremely bias and racist. Athletes and Maori get away with doing anything and the staff ( even deans, dps, nurses etc) make up excuses for why it’s OK for these minorities to intimidate, racially abuse, and physically assault other students.
Equality and safety for all students of all skin colors should be a priority for all schools, but not this one.
Right, TBC is a pretty good school overall. As a student who’s been attending for a few years now, I can say the school does have a few issues, which include vaping problems, and some of the students acting like they own the place I guess. I have also heard that there can be a fair few fights on the field, but not entirely sure about this. In general, the staff are very supportive overall, and the general academics and opportunities are both great and wide. Would give the school a solid 4/5.
The theatre is very nice, comfortable, and has great acoustics. Recommend.
