These reviews though. Friend told me about how poor they were, so here is my personal input.

Compadre High School (Academy) in my personal opinion turned out to be a excellent school to any student who was actually willing to learn. I did not start off as a student who wanted to learn. But man, I don’t know what it was about the staff of this school, who without me even noticing at first, made being in class something I actually enjoyed. The teachers made learning fun, but not just a select few, ALL of them did. Most of the time I would hide it behind sarcasm and snarky remarks, but NEVER would I think I would actually be thanking teachers for helping me get through my high school year. I want to especially thank the transition program staff (2012-2014) who had the most energetic, creative, helpful, and friendly staff I have ever seen in my life, ranging from the math teacher (Mr.Shirk) who made math very easy to understand, to a social studies teacher that was extremely passionate in telling of history and its greatest moments (I have been to other schools prior to Compadre to make the comparison of staff). I was not happy to see the school change in size and staff drastically however not long after I graduated. I also didn’t like the badge system as much as any other student. However, it made sense, its purely for safety reasons, especially with all of the crazy things happening around the world at the moment so try to get pass that tiny, easy to follow rule, let security do their jobs and your only real obstacle is your relationship with other students. All I have to say about that is everyone has there own story, and its interesting to learn about them over your high school time. Being at Compadre, this was easy to achieve for me, simply because Compadre was a small school, and by avoiding cliques. I got to know each individual student over the years, by not who they hang around with, but stories from word of mouth. I personally believe anyone who has had a bad experience at Compadre has had conflict with other students, and yeah, I get it, but that happens everywhere. There will always be terrible people. So giving a review based off of students isn’t fair to the school. Everyone has different personalities, period. Ending my review here though there is lots I want to talk about, including the amazing principle and guidance councilors and their presence in the school and how they influenced me to try my best, but this is long enough already. With the review, I scored the school with 4/5 stars, purely because I felt what made this school unique was the size of it and the staff, but those changed after I left. I still recommend Compadre though to any student who is struggling in a traditional school, give it a try, trust me, if they helped me, someone who went to school for about a total of 5 weeks my sophomore year before I started ditching every day, they can do something for you. However, if they can’t, I blame the new size and staff. I’m out though, and never doing a review again. This is the most direct thing you’ll ever get out of me. Peace.
