I’ve attended ACC, Southwestern University, Texas Southern, and Texas State University.
Texas State is by far the most impersonal, inflexible of them all. If you have any kind of issue, just know that you’ll be met with a machine-like resistance to any compromise. Students are treated with a general lack of compassion. Perhaps they’ve grown too much, too fast, but this is not a place of understanding.
As a military vet, their VA office is horrible at communicating. You would be much better off at any of the other places I’ve mentioned, as they actually care about helping non-traditional students succeed.
Texas State treated me like a burden, and left me feeling hopeless and owing money in the end because of their ineptitude.
Do not be fooled. It is *all* about the money with this institution.
Your program for EMT learning through EMTS academy is totally bogus. i spent $4000 only to be dropped from a course that claims they do not validate their exams until after students take them? how is this legal?
