We have had three experiences here. My oldest daughter, now 10 learnt her survival swimming here and she has gone on to be a very confident and strong swimmer, competing and winning swimming events. My youngest daughter actually did this twice. Once when she was 6 months old but unfortunately due to my family moving back to Scotland we couldn’t keep up with her practice. Now I’d say firstly that it’s testament to Texas Swim academy that when we were in the process of moving back my wife was booking lessons before we were even on the plane here!! The now 3 year old passed her learning to swim and as we now have our own pool she has proven that she is capable of saving herself.

I’ve heard people complain that it’s too expensive, well first off can you put a price on a child’s life? We had been to other classes where my oldest daughter sat and splashed and lay on floats with 6,7,8 other kids for an hour. She learnt nothing and the cost per time with the coach is probably more.

The greatest testament I can give Texas Swim Academy is that both my daughters have been in public Swim areas where other parents have asked where did they learn to do that? In fact that is how my wife found out about Texas Swim Academy by seeing a very young child floating and swimming in our neighbourhood pool.

Only 2 weeks ago I was in a pool where 6 and 7 year old kids were hanging on to parents or wearing water wings while wondering why my 3 Yr old was swimming from side to side of the pool, confidently jumping from the side, correcting her position, returning to the side, climbing out and going again.

If you want your kids to be safe and learn to swim it’s The Texas Swim Academy for me.

I had Very bad experience in this School. So I decided to withdraw from this place. They are doing business! They are not really caring about teaching my kid to grabbing the swimming skill.

I am curious that if the coaches working here are the business shareholders or what. When we decided to pause the class to travel overseas. she had a bad attitude towards me and my baby in the last class. She changed her behavior completely. She doesn’t want to talk to me anymore during the class. Even when my innocent baby (under 2) said bye to her. She completely ignore us.

She is not a teacher that really love kids. Not a single human (especially a teacher working with toddlers) will ignore a kiss goodbye from a toddler under 2.
Does the couch take a commission from every customer? It’s none of her business that we decide to stop the class.

I will Never come back again. There are so many competitors in town.

We love and are forever thankful for Texas Swim Academy!! ISR training saved our sons life. He fell into our neighbors pool and was able to get himself to the side and call for help. We are thankful for his lessons every day and can’t imagine a different outcome.

After his near miss all three of our kids completed ISR training starting around 12 months old. They are also specially trained to give lessons for our son with Autism. Even with his difficulties he is now a great swimmer and we are comfortable taking him to the pool. We always recommend Texas Swim academy to family and friends!!
