TFA flight academy is one of the best small flight school you will ever come across. From their staff, all the way to their training. My experience with TFA helped me become a private pilot within a few months. While I had a bit of experience this academy helped me sharpen those edges where my knowledge was dull. Ground was essential and covered highly before getting on the plane. The staff is great and friendly and will be willing to always lend a hand if they have to. While having a small lineup of aircraft, TFA will properly schedule you and allow you to maximize your training efficiently. The cost of this academy was low compared to others within the Daytona Airport. If you have any problems with your flight training or want to finish other ratings I highly suggest you go to TFA!
I had really enjoyable training for my private pilot license and I trained under both Mr. Mars, who have solid experience in flying over 5000 hours, and Mr. David Kollins amazing management skills that kept the school at best shape. He is very amazing CFI with amazing instructing criteria helped me be current for the check ride over only 13 hours of flying from year and half of paused training. As well, Mr. David Kollins was training for the best standards of the FAA it felt like part 41, which is very helpful thing that made me pass from my first check ride. They both have amazing experience and passionate about flying. Most importantly, the school located in Daytona International airport, which gives extra bonus in making experienced pilots.
Eve is the best instructor. Did my PPL in 4months here(passed on my 1st try) . Eve is a great instructor both on the ground and in the air. She doesn’t stress you out but challeges you to be a great pilot. If you want a local pilot school go to TFA and ask for Eve. She will make you a competitive pilot in this industry.
