I attended the ASL many years ago when I was 16 years old. I absolutely loved it, and made amazing friends. Back in the USA, I had chemistry class as a Jr. in high school (which I hated) but at the ASL, my instructor actually explained it clearly and I understood it for the first time! I would recommend this school today to anyone who needs an American style of education for their child while they are living in London on an extended stay.
The American School in London, founded in 1951, offers a singular opportunity to students–an American curriculum delivered by a first-rate faculty in one of the great cultural centers in the world.
I attended ASL all 14 years. Sticks to a classic American curriculum. On the whole teachers are amazing for sure!
Wrong school in the wrong place. No respect for the fact it was a school in Britain, or the culture around it.
WONDERFUL SCHOOL = THE BEST EDUCATION IN LONDON!
