Athena school is a vibrant community fostering curiosity and growth. It provides a nurturing environment where students feel valued and supported. Teachers are dedicated in such a setting inspires with passion, adapting teaching styles to individual needs. Together, they create a foundation for lifelong learning and success.

A heartfelt gratitude to every staff member at Athena School. The unwavering love and support you’ve offered have significantly bolstered her confidence, laying a robust foundation for the years ahead. Your dedication has played a pivotal role in shaping her promising future x

We used the prep class for almost two years on a part time basis. teachers are very compassionate caring, dedicated, experienced and highly trained. wide variety of activities arts crafts science experiments, numbers, pre reading, writing, fine motor skills. The Montessori style helps kids to develop a love of learning by allowing them to choose the activities they’re interested in. The school buys new activities so things are kept interesting. There’s also a focus on teaching children to be independent and develop self-care skills as well as teaching them important values like grace and courtesy.
I really like that the prep school is part of a larger school so the child gets used to things like carnivals, fundraising, assemblies and being around older children. The school is a more like a community where it’s very supported all round.
The classrooms are well equipped and really clean.
Before deciding on this preschool, I went on tours of many other preschools. It was impossible to find a preschool that ticked every single box, but this preschool seems to cover the most important boxes in summary it has a good school readiness program, teaching children the right values and to become confident, resilient and develop a love of learning.
My son loved prep school at Athena. Friendly and caring teachers and staff, positive atmosphere and nurturing environment. Athena is a wonderful school.
What can I say that is completely honest and communicates clearly how incredible this school has been for both my children? Prior to enrolling them at Athena my kids had gone to 3 different schools each. Sure there were “some” good teachers and they made friends wherever they went, however their happiness and level of education was questionable. However, at Athena they got something WAY more, this school teaches the word “team” and does this by making sure everyone is actually respectful and honestly understands what they are learning. This is not done with authoritarianism but rather with friendship, care, patience and understanding. My children became a family with their friends and teachers and additionally became smarter and more driven. My daughter just finished year 10 and I wish they had a year 11 and 12 curriculum because she would have loved to have continued there. My younger son completed year 8 this year and he actually enjoys going to this school because he knows he won’t get left behind because the way they educate at this school does not leave anyone behind. Their whole intention is to have fun whilst learning and to mould the children into honest people who become assets to society. I could not recommend Athena highly enough and encourage any parent, who wants a safe and sane learning environment for heir child to send them there. they will be welcomed with lots of love and care. Thank you Athena, I know I’m gushing but it’s the truth. Love always Tanja (Cooper and Shilah’s mum)
Athena school is an incredible school. They really take care of the students on an individual basis and ensure they are doing well. The ratio of teachers to students is unlike any other school and the quality of the teachers is remarkable. Some schools have a few good teachers, Athena is filled with the best teachers.
