When I first reached out to TBS, the classes were already in session for approximately 5 days. The owner Sitan Sako however pushed the agenda of a payment plan & me starting classes late although the session began a week prior. My first day, I paid her the deposit, she gave an intro to herself her mom and life from 9am-12 noon then sent us to lunch we came back at 12:45 and she sent us home and told us to sign in and out for the day. The next day we arrived to class she sent everyone home at the door but told us to sign in and sign out for the day. Obviously these are red flags and naturally I have questions and concerns which I expressed to Sitan. She takes it as disrespect apparently but says things will be better next week. Now I began paying with the payment plan SHE suggested, she had the audacity to call me “broke” because I didn’t pay in full and now I wanted a refund (she continued canceling classes into the next week) !! I have text messages proving everything. Very unprofessional. Sitan Cancelled classes ALL THE TIME due to personal UNRELATED family issues and acted like the class is supposed to just be okay with it (while she’s on the phone all day talking about her business instead of being a hands on teacher) And when I had one doctors appointment she acted as if I was holding up the entire class because of it.The 3 days we did have classes she dismissed us early twice(yes one full day of classes in 3 weeks). She has us signing in for days we did not learn & we’re not in class, saying she’ll “give us credit” but I actually want to learn! Sitan the owner operater and the ONLY teacher is also very rude and refuses to refund my money, breaching the contract signed. I requested a refund during the 3rd week (technically my second since I started late) and she got defensive saying that me, the student, who has been paying her “cannot braid& my parts are terrible” She also told me via text messages she’ll “make sure I’ll never get my license in NY or other states because she is heavily connected” …. I will be taking this to court. I do not recommend this business for anyone serious about further their natural hair care career.

Sitan Was Such A Great Help From The Moment I Walked In Until I Left . She Definitely Went Out Her Way Because I’m Usually Very Picky With Hairstyles. She Did A Amazing Job On My Box Braids. As We Spoke During Service We Both Found Great Passion For Hair To We’re I Will Begin Her Hair Braiding School This Month . I’m So Excited . Her Work Is Beautiful And A Must Go If Your In

I came looking for butt length knotless braids with curly ends and got exactly what I wanted, the hair was included for free and the wash and treatment was free! Sitan was very nice and gentle with my hair. Wasn’t tight at all! Will definitely be returning!
