The discrimination in this school is unbelievable. A majority of the staff are very rude, and politics seems to be the school’s main focus. Teachers fail to finish their syllabuses on time, which negatively affects IGCSE and A-Level students, yet they refuse to take responsibility. The staff seem indifferent to the students’ needs. Trying to discuss these complaints and problems with the school is futile; they have countless excuses and always argue, which demonstrates their lack of professionalism. Paying such high fees for this level of quality is certainly not worthwhile. It is the worst experience ever.
I applied for registration and admission for the new session. They responded today after half a year, offering me a seat for my children! This is an extremely poor approach when someone is asking for admission in the middle of a session.
My child came home crying because her teacher ripped up her test paper. She told me she got a 9/10, but the teacher counted it as a 0. It wasn’t even her fault. This shows there is no respect at this school. If anyone decides to come here, you have been warned.
The teachers there do not bother helping my children, and they always try to get them in trouble.
Anyone planning to enroll their child in this school, especially if they are at the board exam stage, should reconsider. This decision could negatively impact your child’s academic performance. The school demonstrates a lack of concern for student needs by not addressing their problems or allowing study leave for those who prefer independent learning. They disregard the fact that students have different learning styles and may not perform well with the teachers’ methods. While students have the right to study in a way that suits them best, complaints about the lack of a suitable study environment are met with inadequate solutions. The designated “quiet self-study area,” the auditorium, is frequently used for loud performances, rendering it ineffective. The school’s response is to suggest headphones, failing to acknowledge that not all students benefit from studying with music, particularly those in science fields. This results in wasted time at school and limited study time at home. Additionally, the school is unresponsive to emails and has insufficient bathroom facilities for the number of students. The lack of support extends to exam preparation, with no action taken to exempt Paper 5 despite students’ lack of practical experience, which is crucial for this component. This negligence can severely impact students’ grades and university admissions. Currently, students and parents alike would not recommend this school. The high fees are unjustified considering the inadequate facilities, support, and overall educational experience. Investing in a different school would provide your child with a better learning environment and opportunities.
Good school with supportive teachers, but bus service is not provided to most areas in Abu Dhabi. We intended to change our home, but unfortunately, because of limited service, we are not able to move to Al Raha, which is not very far from the school. Very disappointing.
It is disheartening to read disparate reviews from parents about the school’s condition. While there may be staffing issues, one should discuss these concerns with the principal or relevant personnel. Ultimately, the most important factor is the future of your children.
