Cgs is quite a good school. Went there 2018-2022. The school facilities are good, with buildings intact and most new. There is a big turf, and 3 grass spaces for kids to play 2 playgrounds 1 for older kids and one for younger. The teachers care alot about you, as a person who is shy and independent, for me they care a little too much at times. I think teachers here don’t understand that it’s OK to have bad days, and sometimes make a bit too much drama. I liked the school, the education isn’t the best, but mathematics are good, you learn a lot. Mostly I found myself doing the same thing for 2 weeks. (Apart from math) there are heaps of opportunities. CGS is kind of overpriced but a great school as long as you find good friends.
It’s a pretty good school, in terms of Mathematics the school is pretty nice. In year 6, you still have the same teachers for almost every subject, which I think isn’t very good. The school is quite expensive, but pretty good. Cgs, thank you for every opportunity you gave to me and the students.

I attended cathedral grammar from 2014 till 2017. Cathedral Grammar provided me with life long opportunities that I would simply not get at any other primary. I left my previous school well below the national standard for my academic results and struggling, and I am very thankful I made the move.

The facilties of Cathedral were better towards my senior years. Inveresk house is a good reminder to bring your jersey but other than that, the warm specialist block and the mass amounts of space for break were good encouragments.

Cathedral set me straight, it gave me a new opportunity to increase my academics and meet new people, most of whom, I am still friends with till this day. I have nothing but positivity for Cathedral Grammar and strongly encourage those considering to attend an open day and consider.

Brilliant school. My daughter actually cant wait for holidays to finish and for school to start back.
The facilities the students have access to and the general environment is top class.
I enjoyed most of my time there, but some aspects of the school were pretty terrible
