My son only went here for about two weeks. He was in infant B room. Danielle is the head teacher and she was very horrible. I do not recommend anyone taking their child here. Crystal was not helpful nor was she even good at her job. Communication is terrible. I had many concerns with Danielle handling my 8 month old son. She would be extremely rough and aggressive. I came to Crystal with the concern about Danielle handling my son by his shoulders. Which my son wasn’t the only infant she would do that to either. It was all. She never greeted us it was never a welcoming environment. There was two separate times that my son has come home with scratches. The first time, there was a baby and my son and the baby was pulling my sons hair so hard he was screaming. His face was so red and yet it took for me to have to message the teachers to separate them. And even after, they separated them they took the other baby and left my son on the floor crying. Didn’t soothe him nor check if he was okay. I am highly upset on everything how the situation was handled. There was no reassurance about my son. And they pretty much put the blame on me as if I was overreacting. They said ” sometimes it looks different on video then in person.” At that point I knew that Children’s Courtyard will never accept responsibility. They are terrible and for the safety of your child(ren) DO NOT GO HERE.
I adore this school and all of the teachers and staff. I have had so many great experiences from drop off, to pick up, and all the activities in between. All the teachers know both my children by name and treat them like they would treat their own children. My girls love being there, and I feel comfortable dropping them off each morning. I know they are safe and happy. BIG PLUS…daily updates with pictures and a camera in each classroom to peek in throughout the day!
They go above an beyond to help make the kids feel welcome. Ms. Lauren the director is amazing and so helpful, Ms. Crystal and Ms. Tessa the asst. directors are just as great. My kiddos teachers Ms. LaTonja in PreK and Ms. Talia in EPS, I could go on and on about. I can not say enough positives about our experience and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for more than just a daycare, more than just a school…it’s a loving environment for growth.
