The Cole Academy, Mililani | Fees, Rankings, Address, Admission, Vacancies, Reviews & More

After searching many other place I thought I had found a hidden gem when it came to daycare for my child. I enrolled my son part time into the Cole Academy unfortunately it did not go well his first week there and by Thursday I was withdrawing him. Our first day my son who has autism and speech delay I re-iterated that my son could not ask for things like a normal 18 month old but he need to be given water and snack like the other children. I picked up to see that snack nor his daily sheet was touched I was handed a blank daily sheet which tells me when my son ate and was changed. The teacher then said she didn’t have time to fill it out and could not inform me the last time my son was changed. By the third day I was picking up my son and his snack had not been opened at all for 3 days on Thursday I picked up early and noticed my sons class was on the playground so I let him play for the remainder of the 15 minutes and noticed two teachers on the playground sitting next to my son a bench swing. I watched as they got off of the swing leaving my son on the swing unattened they went to go talk to each other by the playhouse. MY SON CAN NOT ASK FOR HELP TO GET OFF THE SWING! And for 10 minutes they left my child on a swing without helping him to get off they also left another child on a swing that was kicking and screaming for 10 minutes. When I got out of my car to go remove my son they went inside and I followed them into the class room the teacher sat down in a chair and drank her water as it was a hot day I go to pick up my son who was red and hot I went over to get his water cup that was never filled up, it was dry on the inside the teacher then told me that he wasn’t thirsty I almost lost it , my son was outside in the Hawaii sun for 45 minutes and was not given water or snack that day. When I talked to the director to tell her about our horrible week and the teachers actions she told me she stands by her teachers and can see where I would be upset. My 1 year old who has autism can not ask for things and I was very clear that he needed to be give his basic needs like food and water. I withdrew him that very day and it took over 2 months to get my payment back for the Cole Acdemy I had to call almost weekly to get them to send me my payment. This place is ridiculous.
