If I could give this school 0 ratings I will. The principal Heather Jenkins is very prejudice and will do anything to get her way. Last year my kids started out at this school and we were promised a lot of things that the new school was being built and that the school will be much bigger. Well here it is 2019 and still no new school not even a foundation. As this year went by my kids would come home with all kinds of stories about how the principal mistreat them. I spoke to a few teachers in the school that verified the same thing my kids were saying. Thursday my son was suspended for 1 day and the reason for that was because Ms. Jenkins stated my son used profinity at the officer. When I reached the school Ms. Heather was in a big rush to get out the door so I went to every teacher I could talk to and they verified that Ms.Jenkins is a big liar and a manipulator. I was told by Ms. Jenkins that my son have pulse issues and he needs medicine. She insists that I give him medicine. I did not because theres nothing wrong with my son. I have been told so many lies from Ms. Jenkins that I can no longer trust her or her word. My kids will be pulled out of this school first thing tomorrow. I will not recommend this Charter school to anyone. Heather Jenkins needs her position taken away and I will do everything I can to make sure she will not be able to judge and manipulate another child.
Absolutely wonderful school! My 3rd and Kindergartner both go to Collaboratory prep, they love it here. Their teachers are amazing! The principle Heather has been great since day 1 always keeping me informed. My kindergartner was a little behind starting and now is doing great his teacher really has taken the time to get to know him and his needs and has given him the tools to succeed. My 3rd grader has just excelled beyond expectation here and I cannot speak highly enough about this school! Ooh and I cannot forget coach who is just awesome as well my sons love him and really enjoys their physical education time with him.
