Eagle Academy is a decent school its not the best school on the island and its not the worst. They push their uniform policy so it really represents Eagle. The problem is the staff and management. There is a lot of secret animosity between the staff. Even the own principal too. I heard countless of times where teachers/staff would talk down on other staff and theres just a lot of drama. I dont think a school building should have this much drama if there, there to teach. The management is also a big problem. I feel teachers cant control their students. Students can do whatever they please and the teacher cant even calm them down. To be frank I think most of the scholars there can man handle their teacher. Some teachers also cross the line and say things that are very offensive. Another problem is the split schools. If you didnt know Eagle Academy and I.S 49 are split in one building. This causes so many issues with scholars from Eagle Academy going into I.S 49 floors and I.S 49 students trying to invade Eagle. We also have to share everything, because we have to share a gym the Eagle Academy basketball team barley had no practices and I.S 49 took up all the practice time. Another big thing is that teachers do not treat students how they would want to be treated. Especially teachers that are not in the minority group. Eagle Academy has a great community of students but sadly theres more bad than good and that needs to change. So should you go to Eagle Academy, yes but be preparing for the risk that come with it. The strict uniform, the outrageous things people say, I.S 49 students, etc. Just know Eagle Academy is not the worst but not the best. (This is the most honest review you will get the others are either trolls or not genuine. All of this is coming from a scholar that actually goes to Eagle Academy).
My brother is a good kid and doesn’t bother anyone he gets bullied and beat up and staff don’t do anything and oh if u snitch it’s worse he lies to me all the time but I know he gets bullied one day he came home with his face swollen and I also heard that these boys be touching each other in the stall this is a horrible school in a horrible neighborhood don’t go there or the other eagle academy they all the same he Is so far behind he might as well be homeschool
Terrible. Bullying is very evident and staff do nothing. I was made fun of for taking school seriously. I personally believe that the principal is afraid of students he knows have no home training, which is why he does nothing against bullying.I transferred after freshman year. I made a good choice by leaving. Would not recommend by any means
