My daughter started preschool here this fall, and has learned and grown in such amazing ways. She comes home every day excited about her day and the work she completed, the relationships she has with other students, and her teachers as well. They do an excellent job combining fun, play, and learning, while reinforcing concepts multiple different ways so that the child actually understands what they are doing inside and out, vs. just parroting back something that they have memorized. The teachers and director are super accessible and respond quickly to any question or concern, and in speaking with them, they make it so obvious that they truly love what they do and care about your children. I am so proud of my girl and of all she is accomplishing, thanks to the Goddard School!
The two stars are for the teachers and staff. They are excellent, every single one of them. The location is beautiful and secure. My child was well cared for. My – 3 stars is for the fact that there was a behaviorally challenged child in her classroom that was terrorizing the children. My daughter was afraid to go to daycare. We contacted staff and they said their hands were tied because the child had disability paperwork. Unacceptable. My little girl was being hit, and afraid of being hit every day. I called a private Christian daycare and asked what they would do in this situation and they said they would remove the child for the safety of the other children, so we switched daycares.
A school who cannot manage administrative tasks to provide paperwork to join the wait-list at a staggering $250 cost and then pass their failures onto you as a customer willing to pay the $250 pushing you from Feb coverage to December coverage due to their lag is one I wouldn’t trust with my child. Buyers beware, no other daycare is charging a non-refundable fee to wait-list and no other day care is so inconsiderate to provide a care availability date to only rescind it later due to administration failures.
