We are looking for daycare for our little one for fall of 2024. I reached out to Goddard School via phone and scheduled a tour visit. I received an email confirmation as well as reminder emails of the upcoming visit. We showed up, and it was clear from the beginning that this place is unorganized and chaotic. The lady who helped us had no idea that we were coming and said she was not notified. But she was friendly enough and offered to give us a tour since we were there. She showed us the different classrooms. Being in education, I asked some questions about the routines and the day to day, and I got what I thought were some odd answers. One of my questions was regarding nap time and the different age ranges in the same room. And we were told they all had nap time at the same time, regardless of whether the baby sleeps or not and if they don’t want to nap, they can just lay there. I also read reviews that this place has high staff turnover rate and I inquired about that subtly and I was told that they are working and will be fully staffed by the time my baby would start. And then there were other questions that the lady could not answer for me and said the owner would need to answer them, which is fine. However, I looked over by the front lobby and saw an office with the owner sitting inside with her name tag/title on the door. We made eye contact through the clear window, but she made no effort to connect or even smile. The pricing is also really expensive for a place that doesn’t seem organized or structured. I found much better places for a lot cheaper (but of course they have a lot longer of a wait list). Overall though, my husband and I both agreed as soon as we walked out of the building that this was not the right place for us. I would recommend to do your own research and schedule a tour or a visit and check out the vibe for yourself. For us, it did not feel safe, warm, or inviting.
Extremely satisfied with this school. Yes school, because it’s more than just childcare, it’s an educational experience for your child. My Daughter doesn’t want to leave when I come to pick her up, She’s so enthusiastic about going to school each day!
You get a real sense of caring about the total well being of your child. For instance, the schools rules on the type of foods you can/can’t bring in your child’s lunch. The lunch has to contain the 5 food groups with no fast food or anything containing nuts. Some childcare facilities don’t care what you bring for your child to eat.
Another great thing is the covered playground, rain, sleet or more rain…the kids can still go outside and play.
Lastly, the teachers, they’re so courteous and attentive to my child, it puts my heart and mind at ease to know that my child is in such great care. Patient, knowledgeable and competent are words I use to describe the teachers, receptionists, directors and owner.
My Daughter loves it here!
We appreciate the Goddard School greatly. My wife and I are both educators and have high expectations for our children’s development socially and emotionally. Since being enrolled in the school, we have seen our 4 year olds development blossom and are starting to see growth in our almost 2 year old. The school staff is friendly and knowledgeable and communicates regularly. Our children both love going to school!

Comparatively the school may be more expensive in tuition yet the value we are receiving in our child’s safety and development is priceless. We highly recommend this school, and look forward to continuing our journey.
