We are very happy with the Goddard School in Mount Pleasant! The owners are wonderful. The application process was very informational and the school is run very well. Our daughter has been there for over a year and moved up to her 3rd classroom. I appreciate that they move students based on ability and not just age. They were very helpful during the potty training phase and considerate of our daughters needs. The teachers go above and beyond. We have had wonderful teachers (Ms. Kenisha, Ms. Mindy and Ms. Kristan) who love on our daughter and introduce her to all sorts of activities and skills. The extra curricular activities are a wonderful addition to her daily learning. We know our daughter is safe and supported at Goddard.
My daughter has been going here for a year now and she is thriving! The owners, Andy and Carrie are wonderful. The facility itself is impeccable, with bright and spacious play areas, thoughtfully designed learning corners, and safe outdoor spaces for exploration. All her teachers have been fantastic and its so awesome to see my daughter feel comfortable with them. Miss. Gigi, Miss. Caitlyn and Miss. Tina are great teachers. They engage the kids in enriching activities, encourage creativity and independence, and provide a structured yet flexible routine that fosters growth and development. We are so happy and grateful for everything they do for the all the kids! Its truly a wonderful school.
I have sent my toddler and preschool aged students to this Goddard for almost two years now. After moving from a Goddard out of state, I knew this was the only school I would trust. Some of the great options that are built in include regular visits from Mr. Music man, who has fun while teaching students the basic building blocks of reading music, Yoga class each week, monthly visits from Soccer Shots, regular visits from Charleston Academy of music
.and so much more! As a newer location the building is in excellent shape and is always clean. I feel my children are safe, taken care of and engaged every day.
