We were very fortunate to find the Goddard School of Pleasant Prairie. My daughter has been attending for 3.5 years, starting when she was 15 months old and in the throes of the dreaded separation anxiety phase. I was very worried how she would handle the transition to a daycare setting, but the teachers were so wonderful and caring! They always welcomed her with open arms and would hold her whenever she needed held, and they would redirected her when she needed distraction. They would send me pictures on their app throughout the day so that I could see that she was enjoying herself and could stop worrying. The curriculum is based on play, so the children don’t even realize that they’re learning along the way. They also incorporate more technology as the kids get older with computers for the kids to use in class – and one classroom even has a Smart Board. Our daughter is about to start public 4K, and Goddard has prepared her very well. I’m so thankful that we found such an excellent daycare/preschool! I highly recommend them.
My child was singled out I came at lunch time because we left her sheets for nap time and when I walked in my child was sitting by herself at lunch she ran to me so fast said she was ready to go I asked her what’s wrong she was very sad I noticed she didn’t have her drink and asked if she wanted it the teacher said oh they don’t have them yet I looked to the other two tables and they sure had their drinks the teacher looked clueless my daughter was so sad I asked her why she was sitting by herself she said the teacher told me to sit at that table I immediately took my daughter out when I told staff that would be her last day they never reached out to me asked if it was something they could do seeing how that was her first month so yeah I said they all new what was going on. week before I witnessed the teacher take a toy out of her hand and she lied in my face and said she didn’t
