The owner and teacher here is incredible – she’s kind, patient and very knowledgeable. I took my daughter here after her hair was destroyed swimming in a pool with too many chemicals and not only did she squeeze us in last minute, but I got to see her interacting with her students as she used this as a teaching opportunity. She was fantastic with my daughter and great with her students. I’ll definitely be back for services, but I’d highly recommend the school for anyone interested in learning here as well!!
I would recommend The Hair & Skin Refinery time and time again. I have known Kandi for about 8 years now and love her! She does amazing work, but now that they also have a school, it’s a great opportunity for you to help the students get guided practice. I just got waxed by an student and it went great! Go see them for all your hair and skin needs!
Alexis did an INCREDIBLE job on my haircut. I felt like she was listening intently to my requests the entire time & understood the vision I had. The instructor came around here and there to check on technique and assist, but you can tell she really encourages the girls to try it on their own. I’ll definitely be back for more services ?
