If your child has an IEP or any form of special needs, this is not the place for you. The center director Mrs. Abru literally discharged my child on the 4th day of care because he was running around and very active. I made her aware prior to my child’s start date that my child has a developmental delay as well as an IEP, and I was accepted without issue. I believe it to be very abrupt, unprofessional, and discriminatory. Not to mention, the day before my son was discharged, his father picked him up and informed me that Mrs. Abru’s husband states “when is he starting the program.” After my child’s father inquired further, he informed me that Mr. Abru states “when is he getting evaluated and that “he needs to be evaluated” when my son has clearly already been evaluated and approved for an IEP. I have never faced this form of discrimination and intolerance from previous providers and I am considering calling my lawyer.
My son has been at the Joy of Learning Center for 2 years and I love it. They are excellent. The staff is well trained and have long careers in child care and at the center. My son is learning so much and is truly cared for. Also the parents and other children who attend the center are great.

Earlier this year I tried sending my son to another center that was closer to my home and cheaper in cost. I quickly removed him from that center and sent him right back to the Joy of Learning Center because they truly are the best.

The is the worst daycare I have ever been too the director Sadiat ambros loves to discriminate against my special needs child , very rude , and has a very bad attitude if it was possible to to give them zero star I would. She never follow the policies that they are supposed to have in place , this is first daycare that doesn’t allow speech therapy to come to their facility. They lack staff and it shows. I recommend for you to bring your child elsewhere and keep them as far away from here as possible.
