My son attended TLE Manhattan for nearly a year and has been in three different classes during his time there. This was the first school experience for him and we were very worried parents. Jessica the director and all the teachers and staff there made us feel so welcomed and reassured from day 1. They are so personal, know all the children and parents by name and it feels like he is with family being there. We have loved the time he was there and did not want to move away from our apartment so he could carry on going to TLE. My son loved it there, learnt so much during his time, went from not talking when he started to being a little chatterbox when we left! He developed so much through play and grew in confidence. He loved all his teachers and talked about them all the time. We unfortunately had to leave TLE because we got relocated outside of New York for work however we still think of TLE and my son still talks about his teachers and even FaceTimes some of them once in a while. We miss the school so much and all the staff and teachers there. They do such an amazing job everyday for all the children and parents. I would 100% recommend TLE to any of my friends in the area. It is the best daycare experience we had and we are so grateful we got to be there for a year.
If something is too good to be true, it probably is. Make no mistake, this place is a business. It pretends to care for your children and uses your love for them as a means to get into your wallet. I paid $2600 for my twins to attend. $300 application fee per child and $1000 security deposit per child. When the girls were unable to attend because they began receiving early intervention services, they never refunded my $2000 security deposit. They use ambiguous language to benefit themselves. And when I reached out to their “customer concerns” as well as their regional managers and regional directors, I received deafening silence. Their ghosting is indicative of how much they actually care. I’ve reported them now to the bad business bureau. This has been going on for two years now. I don’t know if I’m ever going to get my security deposit back, but I want to share my bad experience because this place is not all flowers and roses.
