We had our child at TLE for over 2 years. The first almost 2 years were amazing. We loved and refereed several people. Over the last 6-8 months there has been ridiculous turnover. My final straw was when my child was borderline assaulted by a teacher with scratches that drew blood across his face. The director did not care to find out what happened or reconcile what happened but rather blamed my 2 year old saying he probably bit a kid first(which we only had 1 complaint ever of our child biting and never a formal write up or discussion). A 45 minute phone conversation with zero concern for a child with bloody/scabbed scratch marks across his face that were much to large to be that of another toddler but rather to defend herself and the business she runs.
The curriculum completely went down the drain and we routinely walked in on the kids watching tv and just given playdough to occupy time. The turnover of teachers was absurd and left our toddler with inconsistency. Weve recently switched and our son is much happier and advancing much quicker. I hated seeing TLE take such a sharp decline because the first 2 years we could t have been happier until the recent 180.
I would not suggest the to anyone in its current state. If somehow they can restore what it was of 2021/2022, it was second to none, but unfortunately no longer.
I am beyond grateful for TLE – West University. We recently enrolled our son and had initial concerns about making such a drastic change as he recently turned three years old. We have have no regrets. His teacher is Ms. Fairest; she is exceptional. Everyday I am assured my son is in great hands. She is patient, informative, she takes the time to provider updates (via photo and through conversation), and she creates a safe space where kids can be themselves while maintaining a structure that will allow them to thrive in the future. The entire staff is amazing, from the Director, Mrs. Tara who is truly a blessing to the staff who are both kind and attentive. We loved the staff at our previous daycare but we made the move because our son required a bit more structure as we prepare for school. Switching daycares was a difficult decision but I am assured daily that we made the right decision to enroll our son in TLE.
We had really bad experience with my child here. I can’t blame all on the teachers, but somehow they made my child from “can’t wait to be at school” to “crying everytime hearing about going to school”. If you’ve just moved to West uni., you are searching a new daycare for your kid, but your kid is sensitive and need more time to adapt, this is not a right place for your family. And don’t expect that your kid would have many activities in the classroom. They are just freedom play with toys brought from home (how ridiculous it is). I never want to give a bad review but The Learning Experience should change the way they care children instead of focusing on marketing their business. With the money you make, you should hire experience teachers to be the lead teacher, and more assistant teachers please. Now I just hope that my kid would adapt to the new school and forget the bad experience here.
