I’m a student at Overlake, and there are many great qualities to the overall campus, education methods and even student comfort. The campus is beautiful and very large, and nature is very important to the campus. The education methods are also extremely useful as the teachers understand their subject to the fullest and answer students’ questions in an easy to understand manner. Finally, student comfort is important at Overlake too. There is an “Owl Sanctuary” where students can rest during lunch, Flex Time or just any period of time where they need to step away from the stress of classes or homework. Clubs and affinity spaces are very inclusive, with affinities like black student union, Asian American and Pacific Islander, fearlessly female, women of color, etc. Overall, Overlake is one of the best schools I’ve personally attended, so I would definitely consider applying!
Worst interview process ever ! Made the child feel stressed in the interview ! And the interview questions were so absurd for a 4th grader even a grown up wouldn’t have answered it perfectly! No diversity in interviewers ! So glad my son dint get into this school ! Will never ever apply here again ! My son is best in studies , kindest of all , speaks so well ! People when they meet him are amazed how nice he is ! Here in this interview he got intimidated and he was stressed ! haven’t seen him so stressed ever ! I mean for god sake they are not even in middle school ! Thing is may be the race was the issue , felt the vibes! Avoid this school ! Someone mentioned somewhere it’s easier to get into harward than here !
An amazing education focusing on the individual and preparing them for the future.
