Teachers are too strict about things that don’t effect the learning of the person or others eg. Jewellery, false eyelashes or nail varnish. When they should be more concerned about the learning inside the classroom. The lessons have too many supply teachers which is not good for the older years as they have their GCSEs coming up and really need a permanent to get them through.
Host a great annual Diwali event in normal times which is always massively enjoyable. The main hall is spacious and warm, without seeming too big.

Can’t speak for them academically, but the school has an open, welcoming vibe, with active posters and notice boards as well as a vibrant atmosphere.

Crucially, the school has a “buzz” to it, which is rare to find but unmistakable. Just hope students know how lucky they are.

Bad students, and the Drama teachers and Music teachers are really low and trying to cope with bad behaviour.

Theres lots of bullying and everyone is now cheering if the bell goes on or if its a lock down, just to miss the lessons, to be fair most of them are dull. If not then the teacher is either having to shout, detention someone or someone is distracting the whole class and teacher is not paying attention.

There are way too many supplies for essential lessons not properly trained with the school system.

Its a shame, so many fantastic teachers left like my math teacher and I’m stuck with this man with anger issues.

But they are getting there with the fire alarms of course, and people are working hard, its just a few students and the teachers need to focus more.

This school is good but some teachers are mad a lot due to the students disrupting the lessons so other than that it’s a very good school if your looking for one in Oxford. I advise you to be good if you got a chance to go to this school because you can win numerous amounts of prizes if you store your raffle tickets . Also , they are planning to do new stuff every week but it just needs a little work so be patient and please do not disturb classes or anything close to that or it may result in a C3 (Detention). These are the warnings in Year 7 , C1 , C2 , C3 , Two C3’s and C4. Year 8 and above , C1 , C3 , Two C3’s and C4.
My daughter has been magnificently supported over her 4 years with The Oxford Academy. I realy appreciate the effort all the teachers make and they have made as my daughter to feel confident and also to have a very good GCSE result.
The school is modern and has a wide range of excellent facilities.

Thank you all!!
