I’ve just started at Phoenix back in October. I’m still getting use to the other people there but other than that, I think its a great school. I came from JTown High, which in my case phoenix is 20 times better than JTown. At JTown there was at least 15-30 fights each day, which majority of them weren’t even on record. At phoenix I’ve only seen 2 since I’ve been there. The only thing that sucks about phoenix is some of the administrators are asses. they sometimes don’t understand or they’re just general asses. but other than that, the schools great.
Phoenix is an awesome program. This building was a good ship, and we’re moving after this year to the Jaeger Educational building near St. Matthews.
My bias is obvious (I’m a teacher at Phoenix, 11th and 12th grade English).
The teachers in this program are all heavily invested in their students’ success. We want to see you do well, and we want to help you get there.
Zero tolerance on bullying? More like endless slaps on the wrist. This school is a NIGHTMARE! Not to mention I got assaulted by another student (for something I had no involvement in) and all that student got was a slap on the wrist and they separated us, this school is a joke.
