My mother recently visited your facility for a customized facial. Upon arrival, she was greeted warmly and received personalized attention from the student performing the service. However, we were disappointed to find that the steamer and other equipment were not functioning properly during the service. While we understand that this may not have been the student’s fault, it is concerning that the school did not ensure all equipment was in proper working order. Providing a subpar experience to paying customers reflects poorly on the management’s oversight of equipment maintenance. It is crucial for a learning institution to provide students with the necessary tools to succeed and offer clients the full service they are paying for. This incident highlights a lack of attention to detail and professionalism in maintaining functional equipment for both learning and customer satisfaction.
The biggest problem here is not the skill level of students. Teaching the skills required to become successful at their chosen career is where the problem lies and COMMUNICATION is the problem. I forgot the arrogance of being a cosmetology student myself and unfortunately these students will learn the hard way that one never stops learning how to be better. It also doesn’t help that my haircut was butchered by one of the instructors because she didn’t confirm with me that the picture I had shown was an example of how I wanted my hair stacked in the back and not a change in the entire haircut. I came on my birthday and first day off in 3 months and was here 6 hours. It completely RUINED my day. I’m now ashamed to take off my hat and will definitely not be coming back.
