I suggest looking for another school, take this from a FORMER student. This place is unorganized, unprofessional, constantly firing teachers, teachers LEAVING because of the school, and students leaving because of how stressful and unorganized this school is. I HIGHLY recommend looking some where else. I know someone from there that’s been given the wrong elective for two years straight, and this year only gave them 6 class when you HAVE TO BE IN 7! This place is a school of ARTS and people being their kids their for a certain talent and they can’t even get them the right classes. They don’t care about the students, lots of teachers are rude, snooty, and are not as ‘open minded’ as they say. I’ve experience homophobia from a teacher there. Their methods of opening up students are throwing ur depressed and anxiety problemed kids in front of crowds of other students and making them speak in front of everyone. I’ve experienced it and that school made me so stressed, I threw up so much I was very under weight and barely ate, that school ruined my eating habits and how I felt. Do not recommend!
My grand daughter attended this school she as there for 2 years. Doing the time she was there she has a lot off problems, her behavior was out of control. The principal her teachers and my self worked with her we would have meetings with my grand daughter. The principal and the school staff, all her teachers worked so hard to try to help her no matter what we all did she would just turn around and continue with her bad behavior . To me the school of arts and all the staff are just amazing they care about our kids. I had to deal with other school I regards to my grand daughter but none of this other school did even half of we the school of arts did. If I had young children the school of arts would be the sch I would choose for my children.
Thank you for all the support and all your concern you us.
